Problem :
I canconnect to the internet fine on other operating systems on the machine, but windows 8 is having a problem. I will post my ipconfig soon. Is there any way to completely reset the networking?
Solution :
You may try the following steps and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Run the Network adapter troubleshooter and see if it helps.
a. Press Windows logo + Q to open the search box.
b. Click Settings and then type troubleshooting, hit enter.
c. Now click Network and Internet.
d. Then click network Adapter Connections.
Method 2:
You may refer to the computer or device manufacturer website and try installing the latest version of drivers for the network card.
If Windows 8 Release Preview drivers are not available, you maydownload Windows 7 drivers and install the same in compatibility mode.
a. Download the network card drivers from manufacturer website.
b. Right-click on the driver setup files and click on ‘properties’.
c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7operating system from the drop down.
d. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ to install it.
